Another work in progress! I think that I'm frustraited because I can't write at the moment. Not that I don't want to, I can't, as in I don't have time. *blah* This took all of five minutes by the way, I'm in the process of cleaning up my writing area and was taking a 'sanity break'. This is what I call 'tactile art' because it's so touch friendly and inviting and there are so many different layers. There's the ink from the stamps, the texture of the paper, the feel of the ribbon, and the texture of the bead (which is smooth with imprinted letters) to been seen and felt. Anyway, it was a small art minute, and each and every one of you out there can do the same (take art minutes) and create something. Don't buy into the hype that artists are a select part of the populace. That is twaddle created by the artists (I know, I go to the meetings) you can create art and not be a professional artist. Just go out and have fun!

You have a writing area? Man ... what I wouldn't give for that. I won't have one till I get an apartment. *sighs* Such is life....
That looks really cool! I like it. The only "art" I really like to do is computer graphics, as I mentioned before, and I like to make cross-stitch things too. I draw some, but not on a regular basis - and I haven't figured out how to draw on the computer yet. I also like to sew, but I don't have the means to do that right now.
The comp's just another medium for artistic outlet ;D I think you and Wayne and my brother Dave have proven that. My friend Tolkien's got a wacom tablet AND a Mac to boot and she still hasn't worked out all the sketching things yet. As for the writing space, yup, I'm spoiled.
I love my Mac :D
Yeah. Basically what I do (as you've seen in my most recent blog post) is take pictures/artwork that I find on google images, or pictures I've taken, and just play around with them, see what I can get. It's fun playing with colors, textures, image effects, etc... in the program I use. And then with text it's fun with the different fonts and stuff. Text can get frustrating, though. There are days when I'm making a banner for someone that will take me say 2 hours to complete, but 1 hour and 50 minutes of that time was spent working with the text. Those days I want to reach in, grab the text, throw it on the ground and stomp on it a few times. Hehe. That would be so fun :)
