What Do You Listen To When You Write?

Long Day At Work

It is hot here, and humid like you wouldn't believe. Okay, maybe you'd believe it, but then you'd go inside and hide from it. At work today the ruddy air conditioner couldn't keep up and it was 80 to 85 degrees INSIDE. Optimum temperature for paper books to be around is 70-72 degrees, and dry. Things were curling all over the place, and we were sweating like we were running around outside. Gah. The rest of the week doesn't look a whole lot better. We are starting inventory again (moan) and today I managed to get all NLT Bibles inventoried and straightened, so that is a nice chunk done even in the heat. We also got a end cap up for Creation Fest which is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday this week. All those lovely bands, all that lovely music, and it's going to be taking place in the meltable heat of this week. I don't envy the people who have tickets at all.

Also, I talked with my boss about several things this week including advertising for the event and he said that he's meeting with the local Christian radio station this week (well someone from there, I mean you can't really meet with the station itself that would just be weird) and he'll talk with them about what he wants.

That is cool. I mean I know we do advertising with them quite a bit, but still, my event with radio air time is really cool.

And he's also going to talk to some 'print media' about it.

I can now relax and stop worrying about the fact that I didn't really get anywhere with the media myself.
